We believe in living out our values of loving community and holy curiosity. We do this by encouraging active participation in small groups to study life together and practice "belonging and becoming."
These are the regular meetings we offer as our adult ministries:
Christian Education
Sunday mornings
Adult Discipleship
After our worship service, we offer two options for adults to study in community, in light of today's world. We approach the Bible from angles such as Fred Rogers: The Good Neighbor and a study on Women of the Bible.
Wednesday mornings
Bible Study
As an interactive group, we explore the Bible's books, characters, and topics (the Psalms, Ten Commandments, the Sermon on the Mount). We begin with “Prayer & Share” and finish with fellowship and a “brown bag" lunch.
Tuesday evenings
Presence Small Groups
As a small Bible study and prayer group, we meet each week in a host's home.
Fellowship Groups
First Fridays
Communion Club
A social time to gather, relax and refresh. We take turns hosting (if you wish to). The fare is in the fashion of a wine and cheese party. You may bring something or not. You may drink wine or not. There are no rules or obligations for the Communion Club!
By telephone
Prayer Chain
We receive requests for prayer from family and friends – these requests are then passed along via phone messages to members.
In person
Congregational Care
We connect monthly, either by email or meeting at the church. We discuss the needs of our church family and then make visits, call or send letters according to the need.
"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
